Four applications, including ELISA, IHC, IF, and FC, have been performed to validate the quality and specificity of the ARG2 recombinant monoclonal antibody. ARG2 is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the urea cycle, which is a series of biochemical reactions that take place in the liver to eliminate excess nitrogen generated by the breakdown of amino acids. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of L-arginine to ornithine and urea, which are then utilized to form citrulline.
