Overview
SuperFastStar Universal Probe Mixture (UNG) is a 2× qPCR master mix designed for probe-based real-time quantitative PCR detection. It contains Taq DNA polymerase, uracil-N-glycosylase, PCR buffer, dNTPs, Mg²⁺, K⁺, enhancers, stabilizers and other components. The Taq DNA polymerase is a dual antibody-blocked hot-start enzyme, with a polymerase activity blocking rate of over 95% at temperatures ≤55°C, which effectively reduces non-specific amplification at low temperatures. The incorporated uracil-N-glycosylase and dUTP anti-contamination system catalyzes the degradation of uracil-containing double-stranded and single-stranded DNA, releasing free uracil and minimizing cross-contamination from amplification products. The proprietary PCR buffer system significantly improves qPCR amplification efficiency, enabling accurate quantification over a dynamic range of up to six logarithmic orders of magnitude.
This product supports both simplex and multiplex amplification, featuring high sensitivity and excellent specificity, with detection down to a single-copy template.
It allows direct amplification from oral swabs and low-concentration blood samples and demonstrates strong universality, making it widely used in gene expression analysis and viral detection.
In addition, this master mix has an extremely low glycerol content and can be directly lyophilized with lyoprotectants.
