Synonyms: CD23 is a low-affinity IgE receptor found in B cells. It is a 45 kDa membrane glycoproteinthat, and has been reported to be present in peripheral blood cell subsets, B lymphocytes, and EB virus-transformed class B lymphoblastoid cell lines. In monocytes and dendritic cells, CD23 antigen was expressed.
