Synonyms: CD3 and the T-cell surface antigen recognition receptor (TCR) form the complex receptor, which is the main recognition unit of T-cells for recognising antigens. It has the function of stabilizing TCR structure and transmitting activation signal. CD3 is mainly used to diagnose T-cell or NK-cell lymphoma, which is highly sensitive and specific for T lymphocytes, and not expressed on the surface of B lymphocytes, but negative in a few T-cell lymphomas, such as anaplastic large-cell lymphoma and pleomorphic lymphoma, etc.
