Synonyms: SMA is a smooth muscle cytoskeleton protein, which is widely distributed in smooth muscle cells and negatively expressed in striated muscle and myocardium, which is mainly used in the diagnosis of smooth muscle tumors. The antibody can react with actin in smooth muscle cells of blood vessels, intestinal tract, and myoepithelial cells of mammary gland and salivary gland. SMA is mainly used for the diagnosis of myoepithelioma, myoepithelioma, tissues containing myoepithelial cells and tumors in differential diagnosis, such as the myoepithelial staining of mammary gland and salivary gland, in addition to the diagnosis of mesothelioma and other tissues.
