Background Information

DescriptionC19orf47 (Chromosome 19 Open Reading Frame 47) is located on human chromosome 19q13.2. The C19orf47 protein is broadly expressed in heart, testis and other tissues. Structurally, the encoded protein is reported to be 44746 Da in mass. The C19orf47 (also known as FLJ36888) gene is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, zebrafish, and frog. 209 organisms have orthologs with human gene C19orf47.
