Synonyms: TdT (Terminal Deoxynudeotidyl Transferase) is a DNA polymerase with a molecular weight of 58 kDa, which is distributed in the nucleus. It is expressed in the original T and B lymphocytes of the normal thymus and bone marrow, recognizing the TdT-positive cell populations in primary and secondary lymphoid organs during the maturation of the immune system. The high enzyme activity in leukocyte of some leukemia patients is of great significance.
