| Materials provided | A 96-well Assay plate --The 96-well plate has been pre-coated with ApoB. Two pieces of Standard (Freeze-dried)--Dilute the standard at dilution series, read the OD values, and then draw a standard curve. HRP-conjugated ApoB antibody (100 x concentrate) (1 x 60μl) --Act as the detection antibody. HRP-conjugate Diluent (1 x 10 ml) --Dilute the HRP-conjugated ApoB antibody solution. Sample Diluent (2 x 20 ml) --Reconstitute the standard and dilute the sample to an appropriate concentration. Wash Buffer (25x concentrate) (1 x 20 ml)--Wash away unbound or free substances. TMB Substrate (1x 10 ml) --Act as the chromogenic agent. TMB interacts with HRP, eliciting the solution turns blue. Stop Solution (1 x 10ml) --Stop the color reaction. The solution color immediately turns from blue to yellow. Four Adhesive Strips (For 96 wells) An Instruction manual |

| Description | Apolipoprotein B (APOB) is a major structural protein component of low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL), playing an important role in lipid metabolism and cholesterol transport. APOB serves as a ligand for the LDL receptor, allowing cellular uptake of cholesterol-rich lipoproteins. Elevated APOB levels are associated with increased cardiovascular disease risk. This makes it a valuable biomarker for atherosclerosis research and lipid disorder studies in various animal models. The Mouse Apolipoprotein B (APOB) ELISA kit (CSB-EL001918MO) is designed for quantitative measurement of APOB in Mus musculus samples. This competitive assay works with serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. It has a detection range of 0.156-10 μg/mL and sensitivity of 0.039 μg/mL. The assay requires 50-100 μL sample volume and completes within 1-5 hours. Detection occurs at 450 nm wavelength for reliable quantification of mouse APOB levels. Application Examples Note: The following application examples are drawn from a selection of publications citing this product. For additional applications, please refer to the full list of references in the "Citations" section. This ELISA kit has been used in research focused on lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health studies. The kit allows quantification of apolipoprotein B levels in serum samples from mouse models. This supports research into lipoprotein metabolism and related metabolic pathways. • Lipid metabolism research - Measurement of serum apolipoprotein B-100 levels to determine lipoprotein profiles and lipid transport mechanisms in mouse models • Cardiovascular studies - Analysis of apolipoprotein B as a biomarker in research examining cardiovascular risk factors and metabolic health parameters • Metabolic profiling - Integration with other lipid and metabolic assays to provide comprehensive analysis of metabolic status in experimental studies |
