Overview
The CWseq Universal DirectFast DNA Library Prep Kit is a next-generation sequencing (NGS) enzymatic library preparation kit developed for Illumina and MGI sequencing platforms. It comprises three main modules: pre-mixed enzymes required for DNA fragmentation, end repair and A-tailing; adapter ligation; and library enrichment. By controlling the reaction time, DNA from various sources—including 0.1 ng to 1 μg of genomic DNA, PCR amplification products and FFPE samples—can be fragmented into short fragments, thereby avoiding the cumbersome ultrasonication process and reducing reliance on specialised equipment. This kit simplifies purification steps and reduces library preparation time. The amplification module utilises a high-fidelity DNA polymerase for library enrichment, enabling bias-free PCR amplification and ensuring the accuracy of sequencing results.
Suitable for library preparation across various species, including humans, animals, plants, microorganisms, cDNA, long amplicons and plasmids, the resulting libraries are compatible with Illumina and MGI platforms.
