Product Description
Band distortion often occurs in Western Blot (WB) experiments, especially in tissue samples, which may affect the accuracy and reproducibility of the experimental results. To solve this problem, some of the prepared protein samples can be mixed with the product at a ratio of 1:1 for subsequent WB experiments, which will result in better band shapes (e.g., 1:1 ratio, i.e., take 100 μL of protein samples and then add 100 μL of the product for mixing; for serious trailing samples, the ratio can be increased to 1:2 to 1:4, i.e., take 100 μL of protein samples and then add 200 μL to 400 μL of the product for mixing).

Assay Protocol / Procedures
1. Evaluate the degree of band distortion and determine the ratio of protein samples to be mixed with the product.
2. Mix the prepared denaturation protein sample with the product according to the ratio (e.g., 1:1 ratio, i.e., take 100 μL of protein samples and then add 100 μL of the product for mixing) and leave at room temperature for 10 minutes.
3. Add 1× protein loading buffer to the above protein sample.and then prepare the sample for WB operation.
Note
1. After adding WB Anti - Smearing Reagent to the sample, if there is still some distortion band, you can increase the ratio to 1:2 to 1:4, i.e., take 100 μL of protein sample and add 200-400 μL of this product.
