Background Information
| Description | Ectopic expression of HTRA3 led to reduced cell proliferation and increased expression of apoptotic protein Bax, suggesting a tumor suppressive role of HTRA3 in pancreatic cancer cells. HTRA3 suppresses tumor cell invasiveness and may serve as a prognostic biomarker for postoperative recurrence or survival in Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Htra3 is important in ovarian development, granulosa cell differentiation and luteinization. |
