CFAP97D1 (CFAP97 Domain Containing 1) is located on human chromosome 17q21.31. The CFAP97D1 protein is restrictedly expressed toward testis. Structurally, the encoded CFAP97D1 protein is reported to be 19546 Da in mass. The CFAP97D1 (also known as C17orf105) gene is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, and rat. 140 organisms have orthologs with human gene CFAP97D1. CFAP97D1 is associated with some diseases, such as Bardet-Biedl Syndrome 5.
