This product is a specialized kit for one-step real-time RT‑qPCR, which performs reverse transcription (RT) and quantitative PCR (qPCR) sequentially in a single tube. Its core principle is based on the SYBR Green I dye incorporation method: by detecting fluorescence signals bound to double‑stranded DNA, it enables qualitative or quantitative analysis of RNA templates. The kit integrates a high‑efficiency reverse transcriptase lacking RNase H activity and an antibody‑modified hot‑start Taq DNA polymerase. This combination preserves RNA integrity, improves reverse transcription efficiency and thermostability, and suppresses non‑specific amplification via the hot‑start mechanism, significantly enhancing detection sensitivity and specificity. It can efficiently amplify RNA templates with high GC content and complex secondary structures.
When performing real‑time RT‑qPCR with this product, reverse transcription and quantitative PCR proceed in the same reaction mixture. No additional reagents are needed during the reaction, and tube caps remain closed, preventing contamination and improving experimental efficiency. In addition, the kit contains universal ROX reference dye, compatible with most qPCR instruments. For some instruments, analysis should be performed after selecting “None” for the ROX correction setting.
