Overview
FFPE DNA/RNA Kit provides a specially optimized Deparaffinization Solution, Lysis Buffer, and Proteinase K to release nucleic acid from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. Incubation at an elevated temperature after Proteinase K digestion removes formalin crosslinking of the released nucleic acid, effectively improving the yield and purity of nucleic acid. An optimized buffer system allows the nucleic acid in the lysis buffer to be specifically bound, inhibitors are effectively removed through the rinsing step and finally the nucleic acid with low salt buffer or water for high purity nucleic acid. The purified nucleic acid can be directly used for PCR, real-time PCR, SNP, STR, next-generation sequencing pharmacogenomics research, etc.
