Overview
The CWseq® RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina & MGI (Non-strand) is a transcriptomic, non-strand-specific library preparation kit designed for Illumina and MGI high-throughput sequencing platforms. It includes reagents for RNA fragmentation, reverse transcription, double-stranded cDNA synthesis/end repair, adapter ligation and library amplification.
The kit combines second-strand synthesis, end repair and A-tailing into a single step, eliminating the need for intermediate product purification, thereby greatly simplifying the workflow and reducing library preparation time; the optimised reaction system improves library conversion efficiency and offers a better solution for lower-quality RNA. When used in conjunction with the pre-treatment kit, it is suitable for transcriptomic library construction using total RNA starting amounts ranging from 10 ng to 1 µg. When constructing libraries directly from total RNA, the kit is suitable for high-quality total RNA with a starting template amount of 0.25–100 ng. All reagents included in the kit have undergone rigorous quality control and functional validation, ensuring the stability and reproducibility of library construction to the greatest extent possible.
