Overview
This kit has been specifically developed for one-step RT-PCR experiments, with reverse transcription and PCR taking place within the same reaction system. No additional reagents need to be added during the reaction, and the tube cap does not need to be opened, thereby preventing contamination whilst enhancing detection sensitivity and experimental efficiency. This kit contains a novel, highly efficient reverse transcriptase and a fast hot-start DNA polymerase, as well as reaction buffers suitable for both reverse transcription and PCR amplification, along with other components essential for the experiment. The SuperRTV reverse transcriptase lacks RNase H activity, thereby reducing RNA degradation during the reverse transcription reaction. The fast hot-start DNA polymerase used in the PCR reaction offers excellent performance, characterised by high amplification efficiency, strong specificity and rapid extension rates. A unique buffer system ensures that both the reverse transcriptase and polymerase function at maximum efficiency. The amplified target product obtained using this kit has an ‘A’ base attached to its 3’ end, allowing it to be used directly for T/A cloning.
This product contains an electrophoresis indicator, allowing agarose gel electrophoresis to be performed immediately after the PCR reaction.
